Passing on the Dutch truck charge
If you want to pass the Dutch truck charge (vrachtwagenheffing) on to customers, you need to know in advance what a trip costs. The provider's invoice only comes afterwards. Tolmijden calculates it per trip, with the rate of the vehicle and the period.
Per trip, per vehicle
Enter the number plate and plan the trip. You get the kilometres on the charged road network and the amount, with or without the temporary discount. For regular trips you keep the PDF in the file.
Watch the turn of the year
On 01-01-2027 the 22.3% discount ends and the rates rise by 2.6% indexation. A quote for trips in 2027 should therefore use the 2027 rates. See Dutch truck charge 2027.
Indication
The result is an indication, excluding VAT. What you pay is shown on your provider's invoice.
Frequently asked questions
Am I allowed to pass on the Dutch truck charge?
You agree that with your customer; the law does not regulate it. Tolmijden gives you the amount per trip.
