Calculate the Dutch truck charge for your route

In three steps

• Enter your number plate. Tolmijden retrieves the weight, the CO2 emission class and the Euro class from the RDW. Without a number plate you choose the CO2 class and the drive type yourself.
• Plan your route. Departure address, destination and any intermediate stops. With My location you start where you are now.
• Read the result. You see the total distance, the driving time, the number of kilometres on the charged road network and the amount of Dutch truck charge.

How Tolmijden calculates

Each road section of the route is compared with the national charged road network. Only the kilometres on that network count. They are multiplied by the statutory rate for your class, in the period of the trip. Between 01-09-2026 and 31-12-2026 you switch the temporary discount of 22.3% on or off with a single switch.

If a value is missing at the RDW, Tolmijden calculates as the law prescribes: CO2 class 1, Euro 0 and a weight of 32,000 kg and over. This is then also shown with the result.

Example

If the same tractor unit drives 60 km of an 80 km trip on the charged road network, you only pay for those 60 km.
