What does the discount mean per kilometre?

And after that?

From 01-01-2027 the discount ends. The rates of 01-07-2026 then apply, increased by 2.6% indexation. A trip you plan now for January will therefore cost noticeably more. See Dutch truck charge 2027.

Calculating with and without the discount

In the Tolmijden route planner the discount is switched on by default while it applies. With a single switch you calculate without the discount, for example for a quote that runs past the turn of the year.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the discount apply?

From 01-09-2026 up to and including 31-12-2026.

Does the discount apply to every truck?

The discount applies to the whole rate, so it is the same percentage for every class.

Do I have to apply for the discount myself?

The decision says nothing about that. What you pay is shown on the invoice from your on-board unit provider.
